Christmas is full of surprises and full of blessing. There can be many up and downs in the lives of people. No one is perfect in this life but everyone has a right to enjoy life.
A 4 years old girl with a beautiful heart had a miracle during this Christmas. Her name is Emrie from Mission, Kansa. This girl is a visually impaired girl with a beautiful heart and she wants to see the world with the help of books.
The girl with amazing talents. She loves to read and according to her aunt, currently, Emrie is reading books that are above her age. Her father used to read the Harry Porter book series to Emrie during the bedtime.
The little girl fell in love with the story and she wanted to read it by herself. Unfortunately, the braille Harry Potter books are very expensive and it is very difficult to find a book in the market.
Emrie’s favourite aunt, Katelyn decided to launch a campaign to raise a fund to have braille Harry Potter Books that Emrie wanted so badly.
It costs $8 to $300 to purchase a one braille Harry Potter book. According to Katelyn, it is very unethical and shameful act because everyone has a right to read. Katlyn is a very generous woman.
She never forget to thank the helping hands. She mentioned in the fund raising description, “I am hoping with a little help that we can give this little girl the gift of magic for Christmas as well as possibly supply the local libraries with a set too. Any donation would help and my family would be so grateful.”
It took only one month to achieve success. Katelyn was able to find the sum of $4,226. Finally, the surprise of her beautiful niece with the braille Harry Potter book set which Emrie was silently waited for.
Apart from that Katelyn was lucky enough to donate five full Harry Porter series to local libraries and schools. So Christmas is full of miracles and surprises. Katelyn thanked the fundraising team and all participants of this small mission.
They were really happy to reach their goal and to witness the beautiful smiles. Later Katelyn wanted to share this happiness with the world. So she uploaded a small video to her Instagram profile. It contains how Emrie was unwrapping her Christmas and her astonished she had when she got the gift.
This priceless smile got 42k likes and over 600 comments on Instagram. It was such a lovely moment. “Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who donated and made this Christmas extra special to my niece Emrie! As you can see she is beyond excited to be able to read the Harry Potter books herself!”. Katlyn mentioned this in her Instagram post to show gratitude.
