Kristen Bell, the star of Frozen, recently added her two cents to the continuing controversy. It is about how often babies need to take a bath. She stated that bathing children on a regular basis may be superfluous, and she will not do so.
Dax went on to say that it was easy to forget because the kids didn’t smell for “sometimes 5, 6 days.” Kristen Bell chimed in, stating she prefers to wait until they stink before bathing them, saying, “I’m a big lover of waiting for the stink.” When you get a smell of something, it’s biology’s way of telling you that you need to clean it up.”
The 41-year-old actress went on to clarify Kristen Bell’s motivations, saying that because California is experiencing a water scarcity, it is partly Kristen Bell’s obligation to conserve water. She does her part by showering with her daughters.
It turns out that babies don’t need to be bathed every day. And a couple of times per week should suffice as they get older. They do not sweat as much as adults and do not get as dirty. Excessive bathing might actually dry up their skin and cause eczema.
