Orange-tinted baby was played with four older killer whales at Moray Firth near Duncans bay head, Caithness. Karen Munro who is 44 years and is a wildlife enthusiast spotted this while travelling from Scotland from her home in Thurso, in the Highlands. Her objective is to witness incredible creatures. She was astonished by the scenery.
She was a member of a facebook community. There they recommend vantage spots to each other. On Sunday she got an alert regarding pod sighting in the Duncansbay area. So she went there to spot them.
She went two areas. Due to distance she could not see them clearly. But at the third place they were 20 meters away. She was happy and thrilled to experience this. The five of them work together to have this spot. This pod is not a well-known pod. Whales were swimming with a wee calf with a slightly orange tint and she guesses that calf is two months old.
