Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson once attended the royal staff gathering.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady worked at Queen Elizabeth from 1982 to 1993. Later on moved to Kensington Palace to become the late Princess’s private chef. Previously in The disco danced discs for employees, and when they received a violent welcome, they were all stunned at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Darren said on the “Morning Show”: “We have a disco, and I am a resident DJ, and we had a great time.
“Once I spin the disc at Balmoral, Princess Diana and Fergie will fall.
“They heard the sound and music, and then came down to see what it was.”
“They only stayed for a few minutes, but I rotated the disc!”
Darren worked for Diana until her death in 1997. She recalled how much love his sons William and Prince and Harry loved for his cooking, although they were not always keen to eat vegetables.
He explored that: “I cook Prince William and Prince Harry for babies-I make puree for them and hold Prince Harry as an infant while Princess Diana eats cereal in the kitchen at Windsor Castle.
“They are fond of burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken and farmhouse pies, but they always compete with nanny for green vegetables.”
After Diana’s death, the chef offered her ex-husband Prince Charles a job, but refused and can now hold a private event in Texas.
He also wrote several cookbooks.
